Horsley Medical Practice continues to be open and safe and our staff are already putting plans in place to be able to safely administer the flu vaccine for patients. This may be done differently to how it has been done in the past.
Please arrive on time, wearing a mask with your sleeve rolled up ready to have the vaccine administered by one of our medical team. You will enter the practice via the front door and leave using our one way system via the back door which leads to the village hall car park.
The number of people eligible to receive the flu vaccine on the NHS this year has increased, and it is important that eligible patients get the flu vaccination. This is particularly important for those in at risk groups because flu can cause severe complications. Those aged between 50 and 64 (not high risk) will be called for a vaccine in November if stocks are available.
